An English electronic pop duo, the Pet Shop Boys formed in 1981, and have sold more than 50 million records worldwide. They are listed as the most successful duo in UK history by the Guinness Book of Records, and they have achieved forty two Top 30 singles on the UK Singles Chart.

A British music duo consisting of members Annie Lennox and David A. Stewart, they went on to achieve global success with their second album Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This). They were inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
