The Hunks is the reality series that attempts to discover just what makes men tick. Sky Living put ten ordinary but beautiful young men together for the summer, in a stunning penthouse in Newquay, Cornwall. The series gives a unique insight into modern men’s minds. We reveal the truth about how men really behave and what they really think about women, love, marriage, fidelity, sex and fatherhood.
Cameras follow the guys 24/7 as they spend a summer in Cornwall’s party heartland. They set up home in two spectacular, adjoining penthouses, which are perched high above a beautiful sandy beach. They live and play in Newquay, mixing with locals & holidaymakers alike. As beautiful, fit young men, they are sure to attract attention, stir things up and make one hell of an impact.
Episode 01
In an attempt to find out how men tick, Sky Living put ten ordinary but beautiful young men together for the summer, in a stunning penthouse in Newquay. We reveal the truth about how modern men really behave and what they really think about women, love and relationships.
In the first episode, The Hunks arrive in Cornwall, check out their summer accommodation and compete to establish who is top dog. A cocktail night results in some interesting revelations and a sudden influx of guests. Manliness and what it means is high on the summer agenda. Cliff abseiling & a fresh look at the barbers sorts the men from the boys. The guys also hit the town clubbing but some take a rather unusual approach to pulling. They return with female company and we get a revealing insight into how modern men behave when sex is on the agenda, as one hunk admits to having a shocking secret.
Episode 02
In episode two, there’s competition on the cliff top as one of the guys plans a leadership challenge and Idris experiences male bonding problems over the rampant metrosexuality of his fellow housemates. A night out in Newquay reveals what modern men think women would like in a man and also the tactics they employ to get the girls. As Vaughan returns home with female company, his attempts to be alone are frustrated by a jealous Samy & Sean. And The Hunks put pay to the theory that men don’t talk about their feelings in a moving encounter.
Episode 03
In episode three, as some of the boy’s reveal how they feel about love, could a relationship be blossoming for Marc? The Hunks decide to throw a penthouse party and Andy gets all loved up during a visit from girlfriend Gemma. But for some of the guy’s lust not love is the driving force and the hot tub proves to be worth its weight in gold when it comes to attracting the ladies. Jamie gets a new nickname & Samy puts his own party fun on hold in order to play cupid for Dom.
