DRAG RACE QUEENS TWEETING ABOUT EPISODE SEVEN

This blog post contains spoilers from this weeks (April 11th) episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race. You’ve been warned!
We took a bit of a hiatus with this blog series over the last couple of weeks, because simply put, no-one was spilling the T. The long laborious task of scrolling through every queens twitter feed (that’s like 140 or something) was showing up with nothing, or at least nothing worth getting excited about. But the tables turned this week, thanks mostly to a dramatic Untucked episode that got the queens tweeting.
The episode started with a mini-challenge (I don’t know what your expecting – it happens every episode), where the nine remaining queens had to get into quick drag (a favourite for this season it would seem), strap on a pair of big ol’ titties and take part in a potato sack race. Now, when I played this at school, the winner was always the person who crossed the finish line first. In the case of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Nina West and Shuga Cain were crowned victorious, because there big ol’ titties jumped about the most and impressed Mama Ru.
After that bit of fun, the queens got stuck into the maxi-challenge, this weeks theme being Farm to Runway, using raw and organic farm materials provided to create a look good enough to grace the runway. As well as it being a design challenge, the girls were told they would also have to perform a little country jig for the judges. Which means… it’s time for an Alyssa Edwards cameo. She clicks her fingers, tongue-pops and throws around some sassy comments – yet not a single dance move to be seen. With that, the girls are ready to perform their country jig.
Overall, everyone did well in the dance routine, even with Yvie Oddly confined to a hay barrel playing the violin. Next up, the queens take to the run-way to showcase their Farm to Runway looks and ultimately sealing the fate of one queen’s place in the competition.
This week we see A’Keria Davenport and Ra’Jah O’Hara in the bottom. Davenport vs O’Hara. Davenport comes out top, sending the source of a lot of drama home… sashay away Ra’Jah O’Hara.
But as always, who gives a heck what we think. Over to the queens…

This Untucked episode really didn't sit well with me because the miscommunications these girls are having. It's a very real thing. They're in a pressure cooker situation and the tension is palpable. I hope they get to talk it all out post filming.
